The 8th annual Jerry’s Race Against Muscular Dystrophy is on Saturday, Aug. 14 at Verona’s beautiful Festival Park. Join more than 300 people who annually participate in the day's races and walks to help raise funds and awareness of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and their programs.
The Belleville and Verona Kiwanis Clubs will again host the fantastic "Pancakes in the Park," flippin' flapjacks for all the people that come out to support the race and breakfast. Pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, coffee and orange juice are being served. And this year's special guests will be the famous Bucky Badger and Clifford the Big Red Dog. They'll hang out to meet and greet fans of all ages!
This year's courses are flatter and faster than ever before and showcase some of the best sights that Verona has to offer. Looking for something fun and nearby to do before or after the race? Check out the Verona Chamber of Commerce website.
For the past eight years, our objective has been to increase the number of participants. With many more total participants, MORE total funds will be raised for medical research, patient care, and to send children with illnesses to summer camp. Your support is important and appreciated.
